Adam M. Lutz has extensive experience in the commercial real estate industry acting as a Principal, Lender, and Intermediary in commercial real estate transactions exceeding $3 billion in aggregate value. Mr. Lutz is the Managing Principal of three (3) commercial real estate companies, Lutz Real Estate Investments, iCap Realty Advisors and Retailworks. Collectively, his commercial real estate organization acquires, develops and operates for its own accounts as well as providing advisory services for third party clients on their debt, equity, acquisitions and dispositions. As the President and CEO of Lutz Real Estate Investments, Mr. Lutz oversees the company’s entire operations: Lutz Real Estate Investments acquires underperforming properties in the eastern half of the U.S. and asset manages their properties from its headquarters in Farmington Hills, MI and from its regional office in Orlando, FL. In addition to his responsibilities at Lutz, Mr. Lutz is the Managing Principal in the Michigan office of iCap Realty Advisors, LLC, a commercial mortgage banking firm with 15 offices across the country arranging annually approximately $3 billion in commercial real estate loans. Mr. Lutz is also a Principal and Board Member of RetailWorks, a development company that focuses on small retail as well as mixed-use projects on a national scale. Prior to establishing the foregoing companies, Mr. Lutz spent several years in commercial real estate finance industry as a Vice President with Deutsche Bank’s conduit and on the origination desk for Nomura Direct. Mr. Lutz has a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Michigan and a Master of Science Degree in Real Estate Investment from New York University. Mr. Lutz is a member of the Mortgage Banker’s Association (MBA), the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), the Urban Land Institute (ULI), and is an active board member of the Michigan Chapter of NAIOP. Mr. Lutz holds a real estate broker’s license with the State of Michigan.
