David D. Thurmon has worked for more than 30 years in commercial real estate acquisitions, redevelopment and asset management of all property types. As Senior Vice President of Lutz Real Estate Investments, he is the Director of Asset Management and Leasing. He began his real estate career as an associate with Eric Yale Lutz & Associates and spent over 15 years in several capacities with the company. Mr. Thurmon held executive asset management positions with Ford Motor Land Development Company, Mutual Benefit Life Assurance Company and First Industrial Realty Trust, Inc. Including the Lutz Association, these positions have entailed development, rehabilitation, and asset repositioning for portfolios located throughout the country. Mr. Thurmon has a degree in Finance from Wayne State University. He holds the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and Certified Property Manager (CPM) designations, and State of Michigan real estate broker and builder licenses.
