For nearly 40 years, Eric Yale Lutz has held executive positions in all aspects of commercial real estate. For the first 15 years of his career, Mr. Lutz was a Principal in one of Michigan’s largest management, brokerage and development companies. Mr. Lutz has pioneered many areas of investment real estate, including the redevelopment of apartments, retail, hotels, office and industrial. In addition to acting as Chairman of Lutz Real Estate Investments, he has the primary responsibility for risk management. He is also a Principal of iCap Realty Advisors of Michigan as well as managing partner of iCap Realty Advisors, LLC, a national mortgage banking firm which arranges approximately $3.5 billion annually in commercial real estate loans. He is a principal and founding member of RetailWorks which has established a breakthrough model for retail center profitable development nationwide with a new "dirt-to-grand-opening-balloons" concept. Mr. Lutz has held the professional designation of Certified Property Manager (CPM), was a founding member and Vice Chairman of BOMA of Michigan, and has been a keynote speaker at many national real estate conferences. He holds an undergraduate degree and continued postgraduate studies in the School of Business at Wayne State University.
