Lutz’s foray into the retail market segment was as a regional developer for Kmart. The company then developed a series of retail centers that showcased either specialty stores or strong grocery anchors. More recently, Lutz’s involvement in retail included the acquisition of existing properties, targeting centers that would be enhanced by upgrading and improved tenant rosters. Each of these centers is located in markets with strong demographics and excellent long-term potential.
